Joanna Shupe
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/🔥🔥🔥🔥

This book is pure fire! Joanna Shupe has outdone herself in this third installment of the Fifth Avenue Rebels series. The characters are beautifully written…their chemistry…electric. The banter between them is both witty and engaging and the sex scenes…sizzling…especially their very first scene…woo wee!!!
Admittedly, I’m a romance snob. I prefer my romance set in Victorian and Regency England, but oh what a fool I’ve been, for “The Bride Goes Rogue” is simply delicious. Set in the Gilded Age, the scenes are so vivid that you feel a part of them. The story itself grabs you from the outset making this book hard to put down.
Katherine Delafield is a beauty. She’s also smart, kind and a helpless romantic and just happens to be betrothed to one of the most ruthless men in New York City. After waiting in vain for her
betrothed to honor a contract signed by their parents, she decides enough is enough and sets out to live her very best life…without HIM!
Preston Clarke is devastatingly handsome, heartless and use to getting his way. When confronted by a woman who claims to be his betrothed, he quickly sets the record straight and sends her on her merry list-making way. But a series of chance encounters, passionate embraces and soul stirring conversation has Preston craving the attention and affection of the woman he so quickly dismissed and eagerly thew away.
This book is a must read, even for lovers of romance set in England. Shupe’s writing will convert you to a lover of the Gilded Age and have you staying up all night long… just as I did, to find out how these two head strong people find their way to one another!
