Lady Viper and the Bastard
Tropes: Enemies to Lovers
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/🔥🔥🔥
Eva my dear….what was THAT I just read!?! OMG…I need a cigarette or two (and I don’t even smoke) after reading Lady Viper and the Bastard! The entire vibe of this story is sexy as hell…from the plot to the vivid scenes to the downright filthy and cunning characters. Shit…after that first intimate scene…wooo weeeee!!! I think I’ll be re-reading this one immediately. Anyways…
Violet Hampton and Ian Molineaux are two of the most cunning and ruthless people in London. Feared by most, these two care for nothing and no one except their own selfish needs. Tasked separately with tearing a young couple a part, Violet and Ian, decide to work together to accomplish their nefarious goals despite their mutual wariness of one another. But things don’t always go as planned as two dark and dominant personalities get together.

Seven Sinful Nights
Nicola Davidson
Tropes: Ruined, Class differences, Age Gap
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/🔥🔥🔥🔥
Hells Bells y’all…Seven Sinful Nights by Nicola Davidson is WICKED. I loved…loved…LOVED it. I read each chapter with my mouth wide open constantly shouting what the fugg man. Our anti-hero is an absolute cad. Blake Evans, owner of the luxury gaming hell Purgatory is a special kind of deviant…he’s vulgar, cruel, and downright diabolical. He has a way with humiliation…and somehow…it seems sexy as hell. To that end…the colorful cast…how I love them…despite them being a bunch of masochists.
Torture and causing copious amounts pain is the norm in Purgatory both in and out of the cellar and Blake and his merry band of misfits serve it well, especially to aristocrats who believe themselves above paying their debts. When one unlucky duke fails to pay up…he offers to sell his sister-in-law for one night. Instead of one night, Blake demands seven and the young dowager duchess must willingly agree. Eager to escape the chains forced on her by society, Estelle Barclay, 20-year-old, prim and proper dowager Duchess of Tolwick eagerly accepts. Anything will be better than the hell’s she’s been living. To Blake’s surprise, the young widow turns out to be more than a little bit wild which in turn makes her the perfect submissive to his overbearing and dominant personality!

The Gangster’s Prize
Tropes: Class differences, revenge
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/🔥🔥🔥
Joanna Shupe continues her reign as the queen of the Gilded Age with The Gangster’s Prize. Usually, I’m not a fan of first-person POV, but here…I freaking loved it. With every word written…I felt as if I was being pulled into an old B&W Bogart or gansta movie…yeah (evil smile). It’s masterfully written…and beautifully woven together…absolutely loved it. There’s a carriage ride scene folks lawdamercy…that gives a whole new meaning to finger licking good. Isabelle Kelly’s is her father’s daughter. A crusader for justice, committed to do what’s right. So, when her father disappears with nary a word, Belle knows whose responsible…Billy Baxter, notorious gangster and leader of the Hell’s Kitchen gang. Determined to get to the bottom of her father’s disappearance, Belle bravely confronts Bax, not knowing that this one act would change the way she not only views the world, but her entire life all together.

The Bootlegger’s Bounty
Adriana Herrera
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/🔥🔥🔥🔥
The Bootlegger’s Bounty is downright pornagraphic…I LOVED IT!!!!. A grupo de tres so spicy, the edges of my hair felt singed. I’m not typically a fan of stories on the high seas, but my goodness, The Bootlegger’s Bounty gonna have me out here searching for booty, arrrgh (see what I did there – wink)!!!
Three people, from three different lifestyles looking for something different…something better than the lives they were currently living. Rosalía has always dreamed of singing in New York. Unfortunately, her brother and his wrath stood in her way. Camden McCullough, the Rogue of Rum Row is tired. Looking for something quieter, simplier than his lifetime of murder and mayhem…all he wants to do is finish this last job and move on with his life. But the discovery of a fiery woman aboard a pirated ship could upend all of that.

The Conquering of Tate the Pious
Sierra Simone
I’m not a huge fan of books written in the Medieval period; they just aren’t my cup of tea. I always find them hard to get into, so it wouldn’t be fair to provide my opinions on this novella; that said, I did read The Conquering of Tate the Pious and it is beautifully written. I loved the chemistry between the Wolf and Tate. If William the conqueror and pilfering is your thing, you’ll probably love this one…cause there is definitely some hot sexy time happening here too!
